Summary

 

As a Talent Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes for schools and office teams. You’ll provide essential administrative support to both the Talent and People Systems functions, ensuring smooth operations across the full recruitment lifecycle. This position involves preparing job advertisements, managing communications, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll be a key team member, helping attract and onboard new talent while supporting the effective functioning of our HR systems.

  • Salary: $80,318 - $90,762 plus super

About the opportunity

In this position you will: 

  • Prepare and post job advertisements on various job boards.  
  • Assist in attracting new and existing talent to talent pools and advertised positions, including representing BCE at industry, university, and networking events.  
  • Efficiently maintain multiple email inboxes.
  • Enhancing practices and processes for continuous improvement.  
  • Prioritising workload and tasks, and resolving issues as required.  
  • Drafting responses to enquiries and providing information in relation to procedures, guidelines, and legislation.  
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to address needs and respond to requests.  

 

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Previous experience working within an agency, or internal recruitment team is highly desirable.
  • Having a strong attention to detail.   
  • Proactive approach to adherence to policies and procedures.  
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.  
  • Ability to prioritise workload and tasks, undertaking initial investigations, and resolving issues in a timely manner.    
  • Strong communication skills to respond to enquiries and to build strong relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Working closely with a senior staff to provide administrative assistance.     

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
