Summary
The Verification & Onboarding Officer plays a key role in supporting supplier onboarding and verification across Brisbane Catholic Education, ensuring processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements. Working within the Procurement & Contracting team, you’ll manage high-volume administrative workflows, engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and maintain data integrity across multiple systems. This role is focused on delivering a smooth and responsive onboarding experience while meeting organisational timeframes and service standards. Based at the Brisbane Catholic Education Office in Woolloongabba, this is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Deliver high-quality administrative support across supplier verification and onboarding processes spanning multiple systems
- Coordinate onboarding workflows, including scheduling, task allocation, documentation and system updates
- Liaise with schools, suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate, compliant and timely processing of supplier data
- Respond to enquiries and provide clear guidance on onboarding requirements, systems and processes
- Monitor onboarding progress, follow up outstanding documentation and manage competing priorities to meet service timeframes
- Maintain data integrity and support reporting by reconciling and validating information across systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and supporting updates to resources, templates and guidance materials
- Resolve non-routine issues by analysing data discrepancies and engaging stakeholders to achieve outcomes
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Proven experience in high-volume administration, ideally within procurement, onboarding or a similar function
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and maintain accurate data across multiple systems
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage and support a broad range of stakeholders
- Well-organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and contribute to process improvements
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and compliance requirements in a practical way
- Collaborative and customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering a positive experience for stakeholders
- Experience in administration, procurement or a related field and/or experience in ERP/SaaS systems (e.g. Unimarket, D365, Felix)
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
