About our team
The Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Team at BCE is dedicated to fostering and maintaining safe and healthy environments for employees, students, and visitors across schools and office locations. They offer expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and wellbeing to key internal stakeholders, managing projects to ensure compliance and cultivate a positive workplace culture. The team collaborates with various stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behavioural change throughout BCE, and they support rehabilitation and return-to-work initiatives.
Summary
As the Injury Management and Rehabilitation Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of employees across BCE's schools and offices. Working within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, you will provide expert advice on complex injury management and rehabilitation matters, helping employees achieve sustainable return to work outcomes while strengthening organisational capability and wellbeing. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through stakeholder engagement, strategic initiatives, data-driven insights and continuous improvement across one of Queensland's largest education providers.

- Salary: $122,215 - $135,119 pro rata plus 12.75% super

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Provide specialist injury management and rehabilitation advice to support safe, timely and sustainable return to work outcomes
- Manage complex psychological and physical injury matters, partnering with employees, leaders, medical practitioners and WorkCover
- Build capability across BCE by supporting leaders in injury management, rehabilitation and early intervention practices
- Analyse injury trends and performance data to identify risks and develop targeted improvement strategies
- Contribute to the development of policies, programs and initiatives that enhance compliance, injury prevention and employee wellbeing
- Provide expert guidance on reasonable adjustments, inherent requirements and legislative obligations relating to injury and illness
- Monitor injury management performance and deliver insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Tertiary qualifications in rehabilitation, allied health or a related discipline, and experience in injury management, rehabilitation or a similar role.
- Current AHPRA or other registration relevant to your discipline.
- Experience managing complex psychological and physical injury cases with a focus on sustainable return to work outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and develop practical solutions.
- A proactive and consultative approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement, employee wellbeing and workplace safety.
