Summary

This is a 12 month fixed term contract, with opportunity for extension or permanency subject to business needs and system priorities. This role leads the design and delivery of organisation wide people, culture and change initiatives that support BCE’s strategic priorities.


Working in close partnership with People and Culture leaders and senior stakeholders, you will bring strong organisational development expertise, practical change capability, and a data informed approach to improving how work gets done and how people experience BCE. This is a hands on role with strategic reach - ideal for an experienced OD practitioner who enjoys translating strategy into practical, well embedded outcomes.

  • Salary: $155,351 - $172,606 plus super

About the opportunity

 

In this position you will: 

  • Lead the design and delivery of strategic People and Culture projects, managing planning, implementation, and evaluation to support organisational priorities.
  • Co‑design and deliver culture and employee experience initiatives aligned to BCE’s People Strategy and culture transformation agenda.
  • Design, analyse, and interpret employee experience and culture data, translating insights into clear reporting to inform decision‑making.
  • Partner with People and Culture leaders and business stakeholders to understand needs, shape fit‑for‑purpose solutions, and support effective adoption.
  • Strengthen risk and assurance practices across the People, Culture and Capability team, contributing to continuous improvement in systems, processes, and ways of working.
  • Build change capability across the function, providing practical change management advice, coaching, and hands‑on support.
  • Champion inclusive, values‑aligned approaches to culture, change, and employee experience design.

About you

This role is well suited to a delivery‑focused practitioner who enjoys working across multiple initiatives, brings strong execution discipline, and is motivated by making a tangible impact within a complex, values‑led system.

You will bring:    

  • Demonstrated experience in organisational development, change management, and/or employee experience roles within complex environments, with a strong focus on practical delivery and sustainable outcomes.
  • Proven capability in designing and delivering OD and change initiatives, translating strategy into high‑quality, implementable solutions.
  • Experience working with culture and employee data, with the ability to analyse insights and produce clear, actionable recommendations to inform decision‑making.
  • Well‑developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility, influence, and partner effectively across senior and diverse groups.
  • A collaborative, thoughtful approach, underpinned by sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in organisational development, human resources, organisational psychology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

 

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment 
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
