About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
This part‑time role focuses on enriching and extending learning for high‑achieving and high‑potential students across the school. Working predominantly within classrooms, you will help strengthen teaching and learning in Gifted & Talented education, Digital Technologies and STEM, ensuring advanced learners are challenged, engaged and extended. You will also support early‑years library lessons and contribute to a culture that values curiosity, creativity and high performance.
Key aspects of the opportunity include:

Supporting enrichment and extension for high‑achieving and high‑potential learners

Working alongside teachers through modelling, co‑teaching, coaching and co‑planning
-
Enhancing classroom practice in Digital Technologies, STEM and enrichment learning
-
Facilitating Prep–Year 2 library lessons (3 lessons per week)
-
Assisting with library resource selection and promoting literacy
-
Contributing to co‑curricular enrichment programs such as Opti‑Minds, debating, STEM MAD, Tournament of Minds and Esports

Supporting before/after‑school or lunchtime enrichment activities (as negotiated)
- Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community

Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture

Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes

Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development

Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

You are an educator who is passionate about extending high‑achieving students and supporting them to reach their full potential. You enjoy designing and delivering learning experiences that challenge advanced learners while maintaining an inclusive approach for all students. You bring an interest in Gifted & Talented education, enrichment, Digital Technologies and/or STEM, and you are confident working collaboratively with teachers to differentiate learning.
